Gov William W Scranton supporters, rebuffed in Illinois, hope Gen Dwight D Eisenhower will back his bid to block Barry Goldwater. Arrest 8 For Coupon Fraud

Eight men including three waste paper dealers were indicted in a mail fraud scheme involving cut rate coupons. Prosecutors say the group, led by Harvey Sklaver of Woodmere New York, carried 100000 dollars worth of unredeemed coupons and sold them at cut rates to grocers who then sought manufacturer redemptions. The five year probe uncovered the operation.
