David Bradford, 22, of 304 Castleton Ave, Mt Vernon, was indicted Tuesday for selling narcotics and jailed Wednesday. The indictment alleges he sold less than 200 grams of a phenobarbital containing substance to a DEA agent on July 16, 1974. Bradford is held in county jail under a $7,500 bond.

The Pekin board of education upheld the dismissal of Ray Morelli, former principal of the west campus, for placing an undercover informant on the east campus last October without authorization.
