Henry William Feltman of 30514 Jordan Street died at 10:30 am at Letzekorn Nursing Home after six weeks residence. A retired truck farmer, he was 89 years, one month and 14 days old. Funeral Friday at 2:00 pm in Myers Chapel with Rev. W. W. Colvin officiating. burial in West Salem cemetery. He was born December 15, 1868 in Washington County, Wisconsin. married Ida Belle Dodson on October 4, 1899. she preceded him in death. Survived by a son Arthur Feltman of Mt. Vernon and a granddaughter.

Several fines were assessed in county court this week with one defendant found not guilty after a jury trial. Ivan Lee Shields was acquitted of vagancy after a nine to twelve jurors verdict. Guest Judge Charles L. Jones imposed fines on guilty pleas and granted probation in some cases. Lela Kunstman pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution, fined $50, and placed on probation.
