Charis Wraith 47 Dies in St Louis Hospital
Charis Wraith, 47, of Sek Berig, died after a short illness at a St Louis hospital. Born March 7, 1923 in Benton, he was the son of Charles and Flgra Bussey Martin Sr. He married the former Josephine Brown. A World War II veteran, he worked for the state highway department. Survived by his mother in Sesser, two sons Frankie and Jody, three daughters Patricia Harmon, Ricki Mitchell, and Malissa, and 6 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Brayfield Funeral Home in Lesser.

A fire yesterday afternoon at 1917 South Sud caused extensive damage to three rooms in the home of James Christensen.
