Marvin Tony Warner 59 was found dead at his home 421 South 17th Street from an apparent heart attack. Funeral services are set for 2 PM Friday at Pul Jey Funeral Chapel with Rev Roy Van Horn. burial at Oakwood Cemetery with American Legion graveside rites. He lies in state at Pulley Funeral Home after 4 PM Thursday. Born August 1, 1905 in this city, he was survived by a sister Nada C Warner and two brothers Raymond C Warner and Wesley E Warner. A World War II veteran and member of the American Legion, the BRC of A, and First Methodist Church, he formerly worked as a machine operator at Mt. Vernon car shops.
