Funeral services for Mrs. Darlene Dour were held at 2 p m at the Peter Cartwright Methodist church in Pleasant Plains. Burial followed in Pleasant Plains. Mrs. Dour died at Barnes Hospital in St Louis. Survivors include her husband Robert Dour two daughters, her parents Mr and Mrs P G Grider of Pleasant Plains a brother Gerald Snider of Springfield and a sister Mrs Eleanor Litherland of Anchorage Alaska. Mrs Dour was treasurer of the Newcomers Club with attending members listed.

Car Out Of Control Hits House On 17th Street
A car careened at 17th and Logan last night racing across three yards and crashing into a front porch at Lofton McClure's home, knocking the porch down. Driver Larry Dean Mick, 18, 315 South 18th, was charged with reckless driving and lacking a license. The vehicle allegedly went out of control for more than 300 feet. In a second incident on Ninth Street, Richard T. Gresham, 902 South 24th, hit a parked car owned by Ralph L. Myers, 222 North Ninth, causing about 100 dollars damage to the Gresham car and over 150 to Myers. Gresham was charged with careless driving.
