Textile Painting On Exhibit Here
Textile painting by Mrs. Al ma Biagi of this city was featured at the Sixth International Exhibit in North Carolina. The work, an abstraction of a bird in red green and black on yellow Indian head linen, was exhibited November 15 to December 5 and selected by a jury of manufacturers and designers for the international exhibit sponsored by the University of North Carolina. It was among 30 paintings from England Australia Canada South America and others. This is Biagi’s second selection for the international exhibit. Biagi teaches at Mt. Vernon township high school.

Indicted CIO UMW Officials Linked to Kalamazoo Factory Raid
