Mrs Vonnia Calvin Danner of Jefferson County dies at Good Samaritan Hospital after a three week stay. Wife of Hubert D Danner she leaves a daughter Mary Lee Garren and son Robert Sherwood Danner, four grandchildren and five sisters. Funeral at Myers Chapel Thursday at 2 00 PM with Rev Daniel Heitmeyer officiating burial in New Shiloh cemetery. She was born August 28 1894 in Dodds township.

Vickie Davis, 2, began eating breakfast and showed signs of recovery after freezing left her body temperature at about 60 degrees. Doctors said she had almost no pulse or respiration, was immersed in 70 degree water, and may need toe amputations. Police continue to search for the assailant as the grandmother recovers from freezing and a coma. The child is the daughter of a Caucasian mother and Negro father in Milwaukee.
