Chunk Of Ice Wrecks Factory In Rockford Ill
In Rockford Illinois a 600 pound ice chunk fell from a water tower through the roof of the Weiman Co furniture factory after 45 degree temperatures melted the ice. The strike tore a 10 foot hole in the roof, damaged a water line and flooded all four stories, ruining stock and equipment.
