Funeral services Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Ace Summers officiating, burial in Pleasant Grove cemetery. Body at Myers Chapel after 11 a.m. Tuesday for friends to view. Born August 23, 1911 in Mt. Vernon to Nathan and Martha Pigg. Survived by two daughters Patricia Jean Pigg of Fort Lauderdale. Cherryl Ann at home. three sons Jerry Ray in the U. S. Navy. Floyd Byron and William Nathan, both at home. two brothers Richard and Sebel, Mt. Vernon.

Roger Allen Payne nine years seven months fourteen days old died at 11 15 Saturday morning at the family home on RFD 2 Woodlawn. Funeral services were held at Mt Catherine church at 2 00 p m with Rev Grant Hawkins officiating and burial in the church cemetery. He was born June 7 1946 in Jefferson county, the son of Claude and Lois Johnson Payne. Survived by parents and sisters Virginia Marilyn and Linda.
