Cicero Slayton 74 died Wednesday at his daughter’s home in Moline. Funeral services are Monday at 2 PM at Pavey Chapel C.M.E. church with Rev. L. T. Nash officiating. Burial in Oakwood cemetery. Survived by wife Oliver Slayton, son Richard Slayton of Erie, PA, daughter Mrs. Osibee Smallwood of Moline, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Forest of Lebanon Masonic Lodge.
