Eu gene Lewis 26 of Marion UK was charged in Golden Colorado district court with kidnaping robbery and assault for a Jan 6 stickup at a Golden hardware store. He allegedly held two hostages including Harold White 27 and forced them into a stolen truck. White was shot in the leg. Lewis was arrested miles north of Golden after the holdup.

DECATUR UK Jan 20 A 23 year old Robert L. Allen of Dearborn Michigan surrendered to Decatur police after saying a town girl won his heart. He claimed paroled from Mansfield Ohio last August for auto theft serving 14 months and roamed the country violating parole. He spoke with Lt Howard Bridges and said he wanted his record cleared to marry the girl. He was held in Macon county jail with no money on him.
