Salesman Tries To Rob Bank in Pittsfield He Is Charged
A 34 year old Jacksonville car salesman, Robert L. Spencer, was charged with attempted holdup of Farmers State Bank of Pittsfield. He was captured two hours later after bank employees fired with shotguns. Spencer suffered three buckshot wounds and was treated at the hospital.
