National Stockyards Illinois reports hogs 10 000 head with varied weights and grades. Cattle calves and sheep listings show price ranges for slaughter steers heifers cows bulls and vealers plus lambs and ewes across weight classes and quality grades.
Chicago Mercantile Exchange reports butter prices steady with receipts of 689000 and varied wholesale levels for grades 93 score 60 92 A 60 90 B 59 89 C 58. Eggs also steady with receipts of 16900 and wholesale prices by grade with A whites 37 mixed 36 mediums 3344 standards 35 dirties 33 checks 32.
Chicago poultry market report shows yesterday's receipts at 33,000 pounds with wholesale prices unchanged. White rock fryers listed at 19 to 42 cents per pound, roasters 23 to 25, Plymouth rock fryers 19 to 20, ducklings 27, reflecting USDA data from AP Chicago.
St Louis AP notes prices for eggs and live poultry with hens heavy 19 to 20 pounds and commercial broilers and fryers 4 to 4.4 pounds at 178. Other prices unchanged.
No wheat oats or soybean sales noted. Corn prices show No 4 yellow at 1.03, No 5 yellow between 0.9744 and 1.152. Barley quoted as making choice 1.20 to 1.43 and feed at 0.73 to 0.90.

ST. LOUIS AP reports 16 year old Michael Dillon of Centralia Illinois died at Barnes Hospital after open heart surgery to correct a congenital defect. Twenty Centralia area residents donated blood for the operation and a heart lung machine was used.

Mr and Mrs Rolland Lewis of RFD 3, Mr Vernon, welcomed a son born at 7 38 last night in Good Samaritan hospital. The baby weighed seven pounds four ounces and was named Robert Alexander.
