Death of George Linson at 75 in Mt. Vernon
George W Linson aged 73 years seven months and 35 days died of a heart attack at 3:00 am at his home 700 Herbert street. Retired farmer, he will be laid to rest Sunday at 2:00 pm in Bethel Memorial Cemetery with burial in Pulley Pine Chapel. Survived by wife Mary Faulkner Linson, one son Roy, two daughters Mrs Wayne Morse and Mrs Chloe Trammel, three grandchildren two great grandchildren, two brothers Everet and Roscoe, and a sister. He was born May 23 1881 in Eddyville Illinois and was a member of the Social Brethren church.

A 14 year old Barberton boy tried to extort $500000 from film star Roy Rogers. Police and postal inspectors will not file charges. he will receive help and be placed on probation.
