Missing Mail Pouch from Waukesha Found Emptied
A mail pouch containing 75000 dollars vanished Thursday night near Waukesha Wisconsin. It was found slit open and empty Saturday about two miles from the city by two hunters. The pouch carried currency some good and some mutilated destined for the Federal Reserve Chicago from the Waukesha National Bank. It was to be placed on a Soo line train at 6:35 p.m. Thursday but disappeared after being loaded on a baggage wagon. Postal inspectors search incoming sacks for the missing pouch hoping it was mis sent or misplaced.
