Despite snowy conditions two major auto accidents were reported in Mt Vernon over the weekend. At 1 28 p m Saturday in the 200 block of Main street Arvil Shaw and Paul White were involved. Shaw’s car damaged over 100 dollars and White charged with giving false information and no driver license. At 9 30 p m Sunday at Tenth and Newby Lucille Marshall and Raymond Toms collided. Marshall’s car damaged over 100 dollars and she was charged with an improper turn.
