Styles Sent Back To Jail In Kentucky
Robert Styles, 34, of Spruce Pine North Carolina, transferred from Jefferson County jail to Owensboro Kentucky after escaping from prison last July during an armed robbery term. He was one of two inmates who allegedly escaped last Sunday night. Kentucky and Illinois had worked to extradite Styles but legal delays delayed the process. Chief Deputy Bill Hill said the escape timing and extradition were unrelated. Styles faces escape burglary and aggravated assault charges in Kentucky once his term ends.
