Funeral services were held in Springfield for Olin Floyd Learned 71 a former Dahlgren resident. Burial was at Pleasance Ridge cemetery Newton. He died at Hines Veterans Hospital after a long illness. Survived by two sons seven daughters two brothers and two sisters and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

John Kevin Clark eight of Ewing died Wednesday in a St Louis Hospital. He was the son of John A. Clark and Mary Lou Beaty Clark. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hazel Dell Free Will Baptist church with Revs. Bobby Carden and O. C. McClerren officiating. Burial will be at Kirk Cemetery. He was born July 8 1952 in Jefferson County. Survivors include his parents two brothers and three sisters, and grandparents in Ina and Ewing.

In Jersey City 38 visually impaired children from St. Joseph's School for the Blind evacuated a six story building in under a minute after a fire started in the auditorium. Albert DeSalvo, a 35 year old mental patient, was identified by three women as the man who invaded their homes in suburban Boston two years ago and molested them. He is on trial in Middlesex County Superior Court on breaking and entering armed robbery assault and sex offenses. The killings of 11 women between 1962 and 1964 are not charged in these cases. DeSalvo's attorney did not contest the identifications or cross examine the witnesses.

London AP report on Bob Brewis a 34 year old farmhand who first contracted foot and mouth disease in Britain two months ago and now shows a relapse or second infection after returning to work. Brewis was hospitalized a week and earlier outbreak hit Northumberland with a 2.8 million dollar animal loss last year. A Conservative MP urged a government inquiry into how Brewis was allowed to mingle while contagious.

No Daily Fees Elks Country Club To Operate Separately In '67

Johnson Aids Fight Crime With Federal Help
