Lena Amelia Witzel wife of James Witzel died suddenly at 6 05 p m Wednesday at her home 412 South Highth street aged 55 years one month and 26 days She was born November 18 1901 in Jefferson county and lived in the county all her life She married James Witzel November 22 1923 in Mt Vernon He survives along with three sons two of DeKalb Illinois and one of Mt Vernon Also surviving are four brothers three sisters and two grandchildren Funeral arrangements were incomplete and the body was taken to Myers Chapel
