A retired farmer, he will be buried in Antioch Baptist church cemetery after funeral services Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church east of Macedonia with Rev. Luther Upton officiating. The body lies in state at Mitchell Funeral Home in Benton after 2:00 p.m. Thursday. He was born October 30, 1879, in Hamilton County, son of Isaac and Mary Clark. He married Ethel Jeffries. Survivors include six daughters Alma Wheeler Waukegan Wilma Swofford Atwood Mable Harrelson Macedonia Josephine Blackward Macedonia Lorene Smith Benton Imogene Smith Shawneetown, one son Noel Clark Costa Mesa California, one brother Irvin Clark Macedonia, 15 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
