Lester B. Friedman, 59, a former International Shoe Co. employee, died yesterday in a Chicago hospital. He moved from Mt. Vernon in 1929 and was born in Evansville, Indiana. Funeral services are Friday at Campbell Funeral Home in Chicago. Survivors include widow Syvil Friedman of Chicago, sisters Eva Mae Thompson of Jonesburg and Precious Ann Jones of Chicago, and brothers Barnet M. Friedman and Kenneth E. Friedman of Mt. Vernon, and Paul Friedman of Chicago. Predeceased by three sisters, three brothers, and his parents.
