City Council discussed county participation in paying the landfill project costs. City Engineer Harold Roffman reported EPA talks suggest the big demonstration grant for the new landfill area should be approved. The Illinois Office of the Inspector general announced that three graduates of foreign medical schools licensed to practice in Illinois were subject to administrative proceedings to revoke their licenses.
