Alvin Marshel, 77, died at his home in Sims with Wallace officiating. Born November 22, 1888, in Sims, he was the son of S.J. and Armilda Marshel. Survived by wife Lottie, three sons Lester, Gerald, and Jack Marshel, four daughters Beulah Feather, Emma Ross, Thelma Kittle, and Maxine Wells, four sisters, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The service will be at Richardson Chapel in Wayne City with friends calling today.
