Catherine Tucker Roberts aged 69, a former Opdyke resident, died Sunday in Greenville Illinois at 9 45 am. Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 10 30 am at Donnell Chapel in Greenville with burial at 2 pm in the I C O F cemetery in Opdyke. She was daughter of Nathan and Sara E Bondalah Tucker and is survived by her husband and two brothers Charles H Tucker of Greenville and Louis Tucker of Benton.

Three Mt V incidents injure two in weekend crashes
In Mt V two people were injured as three accidents occurred over the weekend. Mrs Malinda Pasley 71 of RFD 4 sustained minor injuries when a Pasley car driven by Charles Pasley 72 and another car driven by Dr Leo J Eschelbacher collided at 17th and Broadway. Mrs Pasley was thrown from the vehicle and treated at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Charles Pasley was fined five dollars and costs for failure to yield right of way. A car driven by Gertrude Douthitt 15 of 1503 South Tenth street went out of control at 8th and North street and struck a tree and a house injuring Linda Huff 18 of 729 Harrison. Douthitt was charged with failure to have a driver s license. No injuries in a Fourth and Opdyke collision between Roy Allen Taylor 17 of 1726 Jefferson and Deloris M Frost 226 Castleton.
