Abducted Woman Escapes in Fairfield Area
A 19 year old woman escaped an abductor described as about five foot three, 200 pounds, dark complexioned with long blond hair and a heavy beard. He wore a plaid shirt and dark pants. Deputies hunted a wide Fairfield region after a sighting but had not located him by late morning. The woman remained in Fairfield until midnight Tuesday when her husband arrived from Chicago Heights to take her home. The motive for the stop request was unclear.
