William Lawrence Hargrave of 411 North 12th Street died last night at Jefferson Memorial Hospital on his 69th birthday. Funeral services are set for Saturday at 3 30 p.m. at the Alley Funeral Chapel with the Rev A B Clodfelter officiating. burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation after 6 p.m. Friday at Pulley Funeral Home. Hargrave, born August 26, 1890 in Wayne County, was a son of Alney and Naomi Hargrave and a member of Vesey Chapel Methodist Church and the B R C of A. He is survived by a son Hubert of Stockton California, a daughter Mrs Keith Groves of Mt Vernon, a granddaughter Teddy June Groves, two brothers Walter Hargraves of Johnsonville Illinois and Cecil Hargrave of Erie Illinois, and a sister Ethel Richison of Danville Indiana. His parents, wife, a daughter, and three brothers preceded him in death.
