State troopers said Gerald Domahowski, 29, of Lemay Missouri ignored eight gunshots then crashed head-on on U S Highway 61 three miles north of Bloomsdale. His left arm was severed and he was severely burned when the car caught fire. The other vehicle was driven by Henry Spencer 22 of Lily Wisconsin. Spencer his wife Edith 19 and two 17 year old hitchhikers from St Louis Karl Brandhoefer and Wendell Stone sustained minor injuries.
