George Washington Atchisson a longtime Jefferson county resident died yesterday in Centralia at age 89. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Gardiner's Funeral Home Centralia with burial in Centralia Cemetery. He was born July 25 1862 in Spring Garden township and survived by three daughters Lola Borders Lucy Chasteen Belle Rhines and five sons Ottis Walter Clarence Trellie and Forest Atchisson. He also leaves a sister Rosella Root and a brother Albert Atchisson. He was a member of Hams Grove Baptist church.

Gerald Shaw of No 20 Shaw's Garden died at 3 00 p m Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital. He is survived by his wife Alice and two daughters Virginia Gordon of Tampa Florida and Dortha Jordan of Madisonville Kentucky. The body lies at Myers Chapel with viewing 7 9 p m Saturday. He will be cremated in St Louis. Memorial services will be held at Oakwood cemetery at 10 00 a m Tuesday.
