A Chicago woman Evangelia Sarantopoulos pleaded guilty to kidnapping her husband Frank Sarantopoulos after marital troubles. Judge R Eugene Pincham placed her on five years probation amid a plea bargain reducing armed robbery and separated kidnapping charges to simple kidnapping. Four men hired by the wife abducted Frank at knifepoint and held him 15 hours. the husband opposed jail for his wife to protect their children.
