Born March 30, 1831 in Harmony Indiana. married Ora Robinson December 30, 1908 in Urbana Illinois. Survives include daughter Lois Bliss Milwaukee grandson Robert Bliss brother Asa Williams sister Effie Doran. He taught over 40 years, including 1914 to 1920 at Mt. Vernon High School.

Yesterday afternoon police investigated a theft at the Bargains Unlimited store, 1223 South Tenth Street, where $40 was taken from a cash drawer while the clerk was out briefly. Blanche Montgomery reported to police that a small portable radio and leather case were stolen from her home at 1016 Forest.
