Relief agencies rushed aid as eight blocks of Roseburg’s business district lay in ruins after a parked truck loaded with 642 tons of explosives detonated following a fire in a nearby building. At least 13 people were killed and over 100 injured in the disaster. The blast caused more than 10 million dollars in property damage across a 22 block area. Long Island killer strikes three times
In a 30 mile wide area around Long Island three people were shot to death during holdups within a week.
