Funeral services are set for Alva D. Whisenhunt 66 of Bonnie on Thursday at 2 p m at the Bonnie Church of God with Rev Loy Shaw officiating. Burial in Ham's Grove cemetery. He died at 5 55 a m Tuesday at the Veterans Hospital in Marion Illinois after a four day illness. A World War I veteran and Jefferson county resident, he is survived by wife Mary Dial Whisenhunt and three daughters Evelyn Lowery Irving Esther Williams Peoria and Dicey Queen Pinckneyville. one son died in infancy.
