Earl Tommy Heck a former resident of Moores Prairie township died of a heart attack yesterday morning at his Benton home. He was 53. Funeral services will be Friday at 3 30 p.m. at First Methodist church in Benton with burial in Masonic and IOOF cemetery. The body lies in state at Mitchell Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today. He was born December 8 1896 in Moores Prairie township, son of Thomas and Mary Heck. Married May 1 1920 to Una Wyrick, who survives, along with a daughter Mrs. Dorothy Ludwig of Benton, three brothers Harrison Heck of Galesburg Roe Heck of Benton Rae Heck of Phoenix, sisters Mrs Grace Dilliver of Mt Vernon and Mrs Bot Clark, and two grandchildren.
