Five accidents occurred in the Mt Vernon area over the weekend with one injury. Larry Wayne Boyd, 23, Route 4 Mt Vernon, suffered head injuries when his car overturned on U S Route 460 nine miles west of Mt Vernon and was in fair condition at Samaritan Hospital.
