Funeral services for Turner H. Maynor 88 of 9 Hillcrest Drive will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Myers Chapel with Rev. Howard Kraps officiating. Burial will be Woodlawn Cemetery. He died 11:35 a.m. yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Survived by wife Fern. three sons Charles Andy Maynor Walter H Maynor Turner H Maynor Jr. three daughters Margaret Maulding Mary Ellen Crouch Jane Maynor. ten grandchildren ten great grandchildren and a sister Dolly Bourland. He was a retired Modern Woodmen district manager and longtime Democratic Party county chairman.

Chicago, AP The 73 year old former Cook County clerk Edward J. Barrett faces a circuit court suit to recover $186000 he was convicted of taking as a bribe from a voting machine company official.
