Funeral services will be held at 2 00 pm Thursday at Osborn Funeral Home in Dix with burial in Arnold Cemetery near Mt Vernon. He lies in state at Osborn Funeral Home after 3 00 pm Wednesday. Born April 16 1892 in Bonnie he was the son of W W Johnson and Susan Goddard Johnson. Survived by wife Leta Estes a son Alfred Johnson of Mr Vernon a daughter Mrs Dorothea Walker of RFD 4 Mr Vernon and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers a sister and a son. Member of Moores Prairie Missionary Baptist Church.
