Ex Mt Vernon Native Leads Film of Prince of Peace
Ex Mt Vernonite Neil Bogan, now a Tulsa attorney, pushed a film of the Wichita mountains Easter pageant. The movie, Prince Of Peace, shown in Lawton and Fort Sill, will donate a portion of its earnings to the pageant board for 20 years to help fund future pageants. The pageant, the world’s largest Easter service, drew about 200000 viewers last year and features 50 scenes about Christ’s life.

W. S. Robertson Dies Sudden Farm Leader in Pendleton Area
Willam Franklin Robertson a 60 year old Pendleton Township farmer died suddenly at his home south of Belle Rive shortly before midnight. He appeared healthy until near 12 o'clock when he had breathing trouble. His wife summoned help and he was pronounced dead. Coroner Ben Roeder conducted an inquest. Funeral arrangements were not announced.

Mad at Willard Taverns Destroyed by Fire and Dynamite
Willard Smith, from CuwitP, Illinois, reports his tavern in Willard was destroyed by fire the night before he planned to open two years ago. Fire ended his Herrin hotel cafe business a year later. Last night a tavern he was constructing in town was wrecked by dynamite, with no explanation given. Sheriff Lawrence Cannon of Williamson county is investigating.
