Donald Carter, formerly of Mt Vernon, died at 10:00 p m Wednesday at St Johns Hospital Springfield. The body will be brought to Mt Vernon. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. He was born in Mt Vernon, son of Albert and Mary Rose Carter. Survived by mother Mary Rose Carter of Mt Vernon, brother William Carter of Chicago, four sisters Florence Carter of Mt Vernon, Lucille Shelton Alice Staker and Rose Dunham of Chicago, and niece Rose Mary Harris.
