Bethel school district residents approved a 4000 bond issue by more than 3 to 2 with 192 yes and 61 no. The funds will finance two additional classrooms and a gymnasium at the grade school south of town, with construction to begin soon and run through the summer. The plan aims to have the classrooms ready for the 1955-56 term and the gym ready for the basketball season.
