W H Harris of Route 3 Mt Vernon died early today at Good Samaritan Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body was taken to Hughey Pulley Funeral Home.

Survived by wife Leona Kirkpatrick Jordan a daughter Jeane Jordan Kirkpatrick Bethesda Md a son Jerry D Jordan Columbus O six grandchildren and several siblings. He was born June 20 1898 in Kaufman Texas and a World War I Army veteran.
Laura Smith 87 died at 2 15 a m today at Hickory Grove Manor Nursing Home born February 28 1886 in St Louis daughter of Albert and Kate Lynch married to Henry who preceded her in 1967 survivors include brother Roy Lynch Detroit and several step children nieces and nephews this obituary to be announced by Myers Funeral Service.
Cecil Clevenger 62 of Fairfield died at 11:55 a.m. Friday at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Born July 24, 1910 in Hamilton County, he was the son of Elvis and Ruth Hatchcraft Cleven ger t. Funeral services set for Monday at 10 a.m. at Erdson Chapel with burial at Garrison Cemetery after 6 p.m. Sunday. He is survived by his father Elvis of Peoria, a brother Lessel of Grassy Point Park Mich, and three sisters Mrs Juanita Trautt Greenville DC, Mrs Lois Trammel Peoria, and Mrs Mary Drury Melvindale Mich.
Illinois weather outlook shows rain on Monday followed by fair to partly cloudy conditions Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs mainly in the 50s with some 40s in the north Tuesday and Wednesday. Lows in the 40s Monday then dip to the lower 30s Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Illinois Pollution Control Board fined four companies in Elgin and Peoria areas for pollution. Tri-County Landfill and Elgin Landfill Co. must halt polluting and complete a water pollution control program within 120 days, posting $100,000 bonds. Ashland Chemical Co. and Lonze Inc. face odor control within 150 days with $20,000 bonds each.
Canada's peacekeeping delegation accused North Vietnamese troops of infiltrating South Vietnam to aid one side in the conflict, a first such charge by Ottawa. The U S has previously alleged Hanoi sent troops and armor since the cease-fire began January 28, while Indonesia considers pulling its observer forces amid rising regional tensions.
