Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Celeste Stills 88 will be Friday at 2 pm at Donald Campbell Funeral Chapel Carmi. Burial in Centerville cemetery. She died Tuesday 2:50 pm in Carntt Township Hospital after two bouts of pneumonia. A longtime music teacher and former millinery shop operator, she lived in Carmi then Texico to live with her daughter. Survived by four children, nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was born April 28 1877 near Montrose Illinois. Her husband James W Stills died in 1952. Entombed with a life of church service and public posts including assistant postmaster at Maunie in 1896.
