Ray A Wilson died at his home 1716 South 10th Street at 1 45 PM. He was 51 years four months and 29 days old. Born November 14 1900 in Bonnie Illinois to Samuel H and Anna Shelton Wilson he married Reba Newton in Benton in 1925. A grocer and Baker Ville Baptist Church member he is survived by his wife, mother Anna Wilson, a son Kenneth R Wilson at Keesler Field, five sisters Opal Starkey Mildred Eries Eric Beckham Della McCormick Ollie Bodine and two brothers Henry and Tandy. The body lies in Myers Chapel with funeral arrangements pending.

James L Willis of Mt. Vernon was injured when his car struck a stalled truck on Route 161 five miles east of Centralia. Strangles Self After Killing Dad Burning Ranch
Etta Mae Dickinson, 50, killed her father James Peter Dickinson, 78, with a shotgun and set fire to the ranch home near Auburn California three days after it was condemned for flood control. Four persons sustained injuries in an accident on route 37 five miles north of Mt. Vernon Saturday night. Cars Collide at 10th and Broadway intersection
