Mrs Effie Irene Allan aged 77 years, of 1108 South 13th Street, died at 9:30 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born August 23, 1888 in Middletown Missouri, daughter of Nicholas and Nancy Taylor. She married Lee Andrew Allan in June 1904 at Heber Springs Arkansas. Survived by husband, two daughters Cornelia Owens and Mildred Roach of Mt Vernon, seven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and the body was taken to Pulley Funeral Home.
