Lee Lenard, 89, of Broughton died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday in Hamilton Memorial Hospital. Born March 13, 1879 in White County, he was the son of Thomas and Samantha Riley Lenard and married to Jewell Allen. Survived by two sons Charles Lenard of McLeansboro and Thomas C. Lenard of McLeansboro. two daughters Martha Crayne of Equality and Mary Jo Thomas of McLeansboro. a half sister Mary Large of West Frankfort. 20 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America Lodge.
