Benjamin Burford, 66, of 604 South 12th Street, died at 4 00 p m yesterday at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital after a heart attack. Funeral services are set for Saturday at 2 00 p m at the Corinthian Baptist Church with Rev William Fuqua and Rev Turner officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Memorial Cemetery. The body remains at Campbell and Parker Funeral Home with calls possible Friday afternoon. Born November 7 1885 in Pendleton Arkansas he is survived by wife Mattie a daughter Daisy B Allen of Dumas Arkansas a brother William of Fairmount West Virginia four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
