Ozark Inaugurates Jet Service to Mt Vernon

McLeansboro Couple Hurt In Explosion Fire
Mr and Mrs Charles Holland ages 66 and 62 suffered severe burns when a gas explosion and fire destroyed their mobile home on South Pearl Street in McLeansboro. They were listed in serious condition but slightly improved at Hamilton Memorial Hospital. The blast occurred about 8 40 a m as Mrs Holland lit a fire, blasting out one side of the trailer and engulfing the home.

PLAN BIG CALLUP OF RESERVES
Defense officials disclosed a three phase reserve callup plan totaling about 60 000 troops in coming months to support the Vietnam war and replenish strategic reserves.
