A family picnic dinner was held Sunday at McMillin Park for Mr and Mrs Guy Rice and family of Tieton Arizona. Attendants included Delbert Smith Harry Jim Bob Pete Nancy Frank Carver Kenneth Dons Ronald Beatrice Bertha Barbara Arnold Elizabeth Alvin Sith Donald Aaron Gary Rochelle Smith Danny Betty Sandra Jamies Faker Gene Parker Mae Woods and others. Also noted was a notice of a called Eastern Slav e meeting for June 1 with a candlelight ceremony and refreshments, adjourned until September.

Connie Davis and daughter Ruth Eveland plan returns from California and Colorado to visit Rex Ruston and family. AMNA Missionary Hincheon to speak Friday afternoon at Methodist church.
Six youths from Mt Pleasant narrowly escaped serious injury when their car overturned on highway 34 east of Fairfield early Sunday, catching fire as gasoline spilled and burned down the hill. Driver Carl Anderson was fined 500 dollars and costs for reckless driving after witnesses helped pull six occupants from the burning vehicle.
Fourteen new vehicles were registered in the first half of June. registrants include Othe T. Miner and Ed Yoon of Mt.
