A three day drive raised eight thousand dollars for the Lexington Boy Scouts under the Board of Commerce. A forty piece brass band from Maysville provided music for the drive kickoff. Beginning November 25 the Lexington Leader will publish a Boone Way Man history series starting with First Things in Kentucky and brief upcoming chapters.

Mrs J W Phillips of Redon Georgia phoned J M Floyd to obtain a bottle of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy. She had recently bought a bottle there and reported it helping her children so much that she wanted to continue treatment. The ad claims it loosens coughs and eases ex pectoration, helping to clear the cold.
