E R Gentry writes to Republican voters of Rockcastle County inviting scrutiny of his four year tenure as County Attorney. He emphasizes clean administration and strict impartial enforcement, noting lack of support from key sources but pledging continued economic principles to prevent deficits in the county treasury.
The Harmon Tie and Lumber Co bought Frith Bros timber for 4800 dollars covering hundreds of acres with future work to market ties. W. H. Barnes and Wm Helton parcels were sold for 600 and 350 dollars respectively. J. D. Carter and family returned to Shelby. Clergy and locals spoke at services as deaths and pensions touched residents including P. Y. Hunt and veteran J. Jarrett.
